Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Manage support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and improve system performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring clients are informed and satisfied with solutions provided.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, user guides, and FAQs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including Windows/Mac operating systems, networking, and hardware.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent are desirable.
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
