Production Planner

Role Overview
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery, efficient use of resources, and alignment with customer demands. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress, addressing potential delays and implementing solutions as needed.
- Analyze capacity and resource constraints to optimize production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues and implement process improvements.
- Support inventory management by aligning production plans with stock levels and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards throughout production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software, such as ERP or MRP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on process optimization.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
