BMS Software Engineer

Role Overview
As a BMS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and commissioning software solutions for BMS projects. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver reliable and scalable systems tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure software for Building Management Systems, including HVAC and lighting controls.
- Collaborate with project teams to design and implement customized BMS solutions.
- Commission, test, and optimize software to ensure functionality and reliability in real-world environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues during and after installation.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the BMS industry.
- Document project specifications, configurations, and operational processes.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software performance and system efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BMS Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages and tools used in BMS (e.g., Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, or Johnson Controls).
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, building controls, and energy management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Knowledge of network protocols and integration with third-party systems is advantageous.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are desirable.
