Technical Services Manager

Role Overview
As the Technical Services Manager, you will lead the technical team, oversee operations, and ensure the effective maintenance of systems and facilities. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on delivering high-quality services within budget and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all technical services and maintenance operations across facilities.
- Lead and mentor the technical team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and contracts to achieve cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Prepare and present reports on technical operations, highlighting performance and improvement areas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical services management or a similar role, preferably within facilities management.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools is advantageous.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
