Unstructured Data Migration Lead

Role Overview
As the Unstructured Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering data migration initiatives involving unstructured data. This role requires expertise in data migration tools and methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage unstructured data migration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive migration strategies, plans, and processes to facilitate seamless data transitions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure migration solutions meet business needs.
- Oversee the analysis, preparation, and execution of data migrations using industry-standard tools.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including migration plans, reports, and lessons learned.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies for unstructured data management and migration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data migration projects, specifically with unstructured data.
- Strong knowledge of data migration tools and technologies, such as Azure Data Box, SharePoint, or similar.
- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in tools like MS Project or Jira.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as ITIL or PMP, are highly desirable.
- Degree in IT, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
