Software Engineer – Backend Development

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support business needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Optimize server-side logic to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in backend systems.
- Implement and manage database structures, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging backend technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in backend software development, with expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
