IT Support Technician

Role Overview
As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line IT support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Monitor and manage IT systems, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support IT projects and system upgrades.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring users are kept informed throughout the resolution process.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and hardware is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation, are desirable.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
