Senior Network Engineer

Role Overview
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing complex network systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and technologies.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with expertise in designing and managing enterprise-level networks.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Experience with network security tools and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
