Production Planner

Role Overview
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet customer demands and operational targets. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with customer orders and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and priorities.
- Analyze capacity and resource constraints, recommending solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Generate and maintain production reports, providing insights into performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication of production plans and any changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, such as ERP or MRP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
