IT Security Assurance/Governance Lead - Azure Cloud, IAM, PAM

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Assurance & Governance Lead to oversee security protocols, governance frameworks, and compliance across cloud and identity platforms.
Role Overview
As the IT Security Assurance & Governance Lead, you will lead efforts to implement, monitor, and enhance IT security governance and assurance frameworks. You will work with key technologies, including Azure, Identity Access Management (IAM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM), to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage IT security governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee and enforce security controls for cloud environments, particularly Azure, to protect systems and data.
- Implement and manage IAM and PAM solutions, ensuring secure access to sensitive systems and resources.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of security practices with business goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams on security best practices, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management on security governance and assurance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT security governance, assurance, and compliance, with a strong technical background.
- Expertise in Azure cloud security, IAM, PAM, and related technologies.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or Azure Security Engineer, are highly desirable.
- Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
