Gas Supervisor Technical Team Leader

Role Overview
As the Gas Supervisor / Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising gas engineers and technical staff, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of gas engineers and technical teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, addressing challenges and troubleshooting issues.
- Oversee the scheduling and allocation of work to maximize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all documentation, including risk assessments and compliance records, is accurately maintained and up to date.
- Monitor team performance and provide training and mentoring to support professional development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address client needs, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes, implementing improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the gas or energy sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of gas systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards in the gas industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications, such as Gas Safe registration, are essential.
