Product Support Engineer - Automation/SCADA

Role Overview
As a Product Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering technical support for our automation and SCADA systems. You will troubleshoot issues, assist clients with system integrations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation and SCADA products.
- Assist clients with the integration and configuration of automation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement product improvements.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to support clients.
- Support system testing, commissioning, and upgrades.
- Analyze client feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing product performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation and SCADA technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role within automation or SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms and industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs, HMIs).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in automation systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, or Ethernet/IP.
- Experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in industrial automation is desirable.
