Platform Infrastructure Manager

Role Overview
As the Platform Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of technical experts to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our platforms, enabling seamless operations and exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects, including cloud platforms and on-premises systems.
- Oversee platform services, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure goals with business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for system monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
- Drive infrastructure automation and optimization to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the infrastructure team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on infrastructure performance, projects, and strategic plans to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and platforms, including cloud and on-premises systems.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, or similar platforms.
- Expertise in networking, server management, storage, and virtualization.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving successful projects.
- Familiarity with IT security standards, compliance, and best practices.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified, Microsoft Certified, ITIL) are highly desirable.
