Head of Delivery

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Develop and implement delivery strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of project managers and delivery professionals.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align delivery efforts with business objectives.
- Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior delivery or project management role, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
