External Quality Assurer

We are seeking an experienced External Quality Assurer to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of training programs and assessments.
Role Overview
As an External Quality Assurer, you will be responsible for evaluating the quality of training delivery and assessment practices across providers. Your role will involve working collaboratively with training providers, ensuring compliance with standards, and fostering continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct external quality assurance visits to training providers, reviewing delivery and assessment practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and awarding body requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Review learner portfolios and assessment documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide guidance and support to providers to enhance quality and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance activities, findings, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on changes in standards, regulations, and best practices in the education and training sector.
- Build strong relationships with training providers, acting as a trusted advisor on quality assurance matters.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high standards within the sector.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the education or training sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and awarding body standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting audits, reviews, or external quality assurance activities.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and interpret data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with providers.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and drive improvements.
- Relevant qualifications in quality assurance or education, such as IQA or EQA certifications.
- Degree in Education, Training, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
