IT Support Technician – Luxury Car Dealership
We are a prestigious luxury car dealership known for exceptional customer service and world-class vehicles. We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure and support the day-to-day technological needs of our dealership.
Role Overview
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT systems to ensure optimal performance. Your role will be vital in enabling the dealership to maintain its reputation for excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
- Ensure the dealership’s IT systems and applications are running smoothly and securely.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies, updates, and system upgrades.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT tools and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and basic networking.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including peripherals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with users at all levels.
- Familiarity with automotive dealership management systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
