Technical Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee and enhance the delivery of our technical services, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Role Overview
As the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of technical and engineering services across client facilities. You will lead a team of professionals, oversee compliance with health and safety standards, and ensure the effective maintenance and operation of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of technical and engineering services, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage budgets and resources, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
- Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical or facilities management, with a strong engineering background.
- Excellent knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
