Cloud Architect

Role Overview
As a Cloud Architect, you will take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures. This senior role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to align cloud strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective cloud architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, tools, and services to enhance system performance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure blueprints, including high-level and detailed designs.
- Oversee the migration of on-premises systems to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards across all cloud deployments.
- Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, with expertise in designing and managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cloud-native services, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
