Staff System Architect

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure system architectures that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to support system development.
- Oversee the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform system design and innovation.
- Document system architecture, processes, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a System Architect or in a similar technical leadership role.
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in system integration, microservices architecture, and API design.
- Solid knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
