Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in compilers, you will play a critical role in automating, streamlining, and maintaining robust development pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance productivity, ensure high-quality software delivery, and support the integration of advanced compiler technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for compiler development and deployment.
- Automate and optimize build and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration of compiler features and functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Implement best practices for source control, branching strategies, and artifact management.
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and methodologies, integrating them into workflows where applicable.
- Maintain and improve the infrastructure supporting compiler development, including version control systems, build servers, and testing frameworks.
- Document processes, tools, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Hands-on experience with compiler toolchains, build systems, and related technologies.
- Expertise in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools.
- Strong understanding of source control systems like Git and branching strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
