Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first- and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, systems, and applications.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to users, ensuring optimal system usage.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement and support IT projects and upgrades.
- Document support activities, solutions, and system configurations accurately.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices to enhance support services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical support or similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
