Test Lead

Role Overview
As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities to ensure the successful delivery of software projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for software projects.
- Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to ensure requirements are testable and deliverables meet quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Implement and maintain testing tools and frameworks to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a test lead or senior testing role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
