Role Overview
As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in defining, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient data solutions that align with business goals and support analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture strategies, including data modeling, integration, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Define and enforce data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on data-related projects.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, incorporating them into the data architecture when appropriate.
- Optimize existing data systems and processes for performance, scalability, and security.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and associated data services.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, or equivalent, is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
