Cyber Security Support Analyst

Role Overview
As a Cyber Security Support Analyst, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents while supporting the implementation of best practices to secure IT systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of cyber security concepts and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events, analyzing and responding to potential threats in real-time.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect IT systems and data.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the remediation of identified risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to investigate and resolve security incidents effectively.
- Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and best practices.
- Support the implementation and configuration of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on security-related matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a cyber security or IT support role.
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and tools.
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions, firewalls, and endpoint protection technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are desirable.
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
