DevOps Engineer (12M FTC)

Our IT team plays a crucial role in optimizing our infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support and enhance our DevOps processes, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions. This is a dynamic role for an experienced professional who excels in automation, continuous integration, and deployment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for development and production environments.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and automated deployment processes.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Automate routine tasks and processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, trends, and technologies, integrating them into the existing environment where applicable.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
