Senior Manager, Product (Lease Accounting)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Product Lease Accounting to lead and manage lease accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes.
Role Overview
As the Senior Manager for Product Lease Accounting, you will oversee the accounting operations related to lease products, manage a team, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of lease accounting standards, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to drive improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting operations for lease products, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16, ASC 842, or relevant accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Analyze lease accounting data, prepare financial reports, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, financial planning, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of lease accounting operations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on lease accounting, providing guidance and training to internal teams.
- Prepare for and support audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role, with a focus on lease accounting.
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting standards such as IFRS 16, ASC 842, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to guide and develop team members.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including ERP systems and lease accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
