Role Overview
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of ServiceNow applications to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Work closely with developers and technical teams to design, configure, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Conduct workshops and user sessions to understand workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, user stories, and test cases.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance processes and optimize the use of ServiceNow.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow advancements and promote their adoption to address business challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and frameworks.
- Proficiency in gathering requirements, writing user stories, and creating technical documentation.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, or Asset Management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ServiceNow System Administrator or ITIL Foundation are desirable.
