Application Technical Architect

Role Overview
As an Application Technical Architect, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the architectural framework of software applications. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop application architecture solutions that meet business requirements and align with strategic objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies to support project needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and detailed designs.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance systems.
- Oversee system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability across applications and platforms.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, workflows, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Application Architect, Technical Architect, or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of database systems, APIs, and system integration practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
