Product Design Engineer

Role Overview
As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and developing products from concept to production. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product designs from initial concept through to final production, ensuring quality and functionality.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and refine designs to meet specifications.
- Prototype and test designs to validate performance, durability, and safety.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure seamless production and quality control.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in product design and engineering.
- Prepare and present reports, documentation, and design reviews to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Design Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
