Embedded Software Developer – IoT

Role Overview
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize software for IoT devices and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the demands of modern IoT applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for IoT devices and systems.
- Implement and optimize communication protocols, ensuring seamless connectivity between devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with IoT hardware components.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies, standards, and best practices.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows to support team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in embedded software development, particularly in IoT applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, STM32).
- Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in IoT development is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a team-oriented approach.
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
